Bee ford bronco there is a three-door version, which is very similar to our Niva. It was this SUV that was chosen for a test drive by the expert of Za Rulem, the oldest and most authoritative automotive publication in Russia, Alexander Vinogradov.
The little Bronco is powered by a 270 horsepower four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Such an SUV will cost $ 69.5 thousand (5 million rubles at the exchange rate at the end of 2022). Customs and recycling duties add a few more million to the price tag. Total 7 million rubles.
And that’s what “buns” you get for that kind of money.
1. Access to vertical walls
Of course, this is an exaggeration, but with a certain skill it is possible. The approach angle is almost 45 degrees and by turning the steering wheel you can overcome very heavy obstacles. Add to that almost 12 inches of ground clearance, a downshift, locking of both differentials and disabling the front stabilizer. Yes, this is a serious all-terrain vehicle, even at its base.
2. U-turn
The Trail Turn Assist feature is ingenious, simple and indispensable. It brakes the inside rear wheel, causing the Bronco to spin in place.
3. Unsinkable interior
The interior is designed not to be afraid of water. Not while wading, not while washing the car. All electronics are reliably protected against water, which cannot reach even through the buttons. That is, the interior can be washed with a hose, and then the water is drained through special holes with plugs in the floor.
4. More gas – fewer problems
Bronco’s suspension soaks up any bumps without consequence, be it speed bumps or curbs, roots, stumps, boulders, and so on. But at the same time, on smooth asphalt, the car is perfectly controlled and does not lean, obediently changes its trajectory.
5. Shortage of spare parts
He’s not. All consumables are united with consumables from other models driving on our roads. That is, you can buy them at most parts stores. The only exception is the air filter, which is supplied to order.
