11,000 military personnel, 131 units of military equipment, 77 aircraft – so many are involved in the rehearsal of the Victory Parade, which takes place Monday at the Alabino training ground, the Defense Ministry reported.
33 ceremonial calculations of the foot column took part in the training. The mechanized column includes all-terrain vehicles “Typhoon”, BMP-2, BMP-3, “Kurganets-25”, tanks T-72B3M, T-90M “Breakthrough”, T-14 “Armata”, missile and artillery weapon systems ” Iskander, Msta -S, Tornado-G, Tor-M2, Buk-M3, S-400 Triumph Air Defense Systems, Airborne Forces, Strategic Missile Forces, Uran-9 Combat Robots.
Eight MiG-29SMT fighters are involved in the aviation unit, which will fly in the form of the letter Z; 15 helicopters and 62 planes will also take part in the parade. Among them are Mi-26 and Mi-24, Ka-52, Mi-28N, Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters and Il-76, Tu-160, Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3 and Il-78 aircraft of the military transport and long-haul aviation, Su-57, Su-35, Su-30SM, MiG-31BM fighters, Su-34 and Su-24M bombers.
On April 28 and May 4 there will be night training sessions on Red Square in Moscow and a dress rehearsal on May 7th. Military parades on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War will be held on May 9 in 28 Russian cities. At 10:00 PM local time, festive greetings and fireworks take place in the cities.
