The smallest V8 engine in the world – video

It would be nice if collector car models had real engines and could drive. You will be surprised, but there is a company that produces small internal combustion engines.

Toyan, as the company is called, makes and sells large-scale engines that can be supplied assembled or disassembled. One of them recently got a turbine. The engine works as it should and even makes the characteristic sound of a turbo engine.

The nine minute video begins with the installation of the supercharger. Then the timing belt is installed. This is not as difficult as on a real motor, but the work is very painstaking given the number of rollers and shafts to be connected. This is followed by checking the markings – and the engine is ready for the first start.

The first start fails – the starter button sticks and the starter burns out. Then the engine finally starts to run, but something is wrong with the air/fuel mixture and the V8 “stumbles” at full throttle. At the same time, the engine runs stable at idle, but adjustments to the fuel supply and ignition are necessary.
