Bloggers from the YouTube channel “Garage 54” mocked the VAZ “nine” to see how it would withstand pouring boiling water at a temperature of -30° C. For the experiment, the hatchback was left outside overnight.
In a large homemade pan, water was boiled over an open fire and a hose was attached to the vessel so as not to lose temperature during the action.
It seems that something terrible should have happened to the car, but … the hood paint was not damaged. None of the windows cracked under the pressure of hot water, but all of the car’s windows quickly defrosted, both outside and inside.
But the painting has given up. It began to flake off to such an extent that it was swept away like snow and then completely washed away with water.
