The Moscow Ministry of Transport has appealed to all major operators and taxi companies in the capital with a request not to increase travel costs before the New Year, on a festive evening and during the holidays.
As Maxim Liksutov, deputy mayor of the capital for transport, pointed out, first of all, taxi service should always be safe, accessible and convenient for the majority of residents.
“Every day in Moscow, taxis carry more than 1.6 million passengers. We understand that many Muscovites and guests of the city will use this service on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Eve and long weekends, so we asked all aggregators to establish the usual prices for passengers, ” he wrote down.
