“We do not exclude that there will be a new platform for UAZ through a specific technological partnership under our brand. We have already started to move in this direction. But the first most important task is to combine the power plant of the box with the diesel engine,” said Adil Shirinov.
According to the top manager, cars on the new platform will be produced under the brand name UAZ or Sollers, which also includes the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.
