The defense industry, which is dozens of enterprises, hundreds of contractors, design bureaus, and so on, is gradually increasing production and developing plans, including the supply of products to the military.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, at a meeting of the government’s coordinating council to meet the needs of the armed forces, assessed the dynamics as positive and also noted that much remains to be done.

In addition, he said that the supply of weapons to the troops is improving. This includes military and special equipment, as well as personal armor for soldiers and all-weather clothing.

But this is just the beginning, and it is necessary to continue working in the same spirit, arranging production and deliveries.

“There is still much to do, our industry is gradually facing the current challenges and leveling the situation,” Mishustin told RIA Novosti.

Recall that on October 21, the President of Russia signed a decree on the Coordinating Council to meet the needs of the armed forces and its composition. It is the Council that has to make decisions on the provision of arms, military and special equipment, materiel and resources to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during a special military operation. He also sets deadlines and monitors the progress of the work.
