These amendments to the Tax Act were approved in the summer of 2022.

“You will have to pay 1,500 rubles for the authorization of vehicles to carry dangerous goods,” Andrey Sharkov, managing partner of SHAGI law firm, told the Prime agency.

A thousand rubles are also charged for the production of documents to replace lost or damaged documents, as well as for the renewal of the certificate.

The fee for issuing a safety certificate for a vehicle with a modified design is increased from 800 to 1,500 rubles. It is paid when registering self-made cars, when making changes to the equipment of the car or when importing a foreign car into the country.
