The modern smartphone has replaced navigation systems, replaced the on-board computer. And in general, no trip by car is complete without it. One problem is that the battery drains quickly with such intensive use.
It would seem that it is easier – the cable for the phone is always at hand. But in order for the smartphone not to fail, it must be charged correctly in the car, says Nikita Efimov, head of the Megafon service department.
For example, an adapter for charging a smartphone in a car must have the function of a multi-stage protection system against short circuit and overheating. Otherwise it will quickly deteriorate, just like the cigarette lighter.
When buying a wire, pay attention to the output power.
“An adapter with a current of 1A will charge the smartphone for a long time, and if GPS navigation is enabled in parallel, it will take even longer – several hours. To power the battery faster, you need a device with an output of 2A or 2.4A. expert advice.
And it’s better if the charging is with a twisted wire: it’s less likely to break.
Don’t overcharge your phone in the car. If you constantly keep the smartphone on the wire, the battery of the device will inevitably heat up, and as a result, its life will be much faster.
