This version is not an absolute novelty – in China, Tugella under the name Xingyue, of course, has a front-wheel drive version, but there were no such cars in Russia before.
The power of the 2-liter engine in single-drive cars has been reduced from 238 to 200 hp, and the torque has remained the same: 350 Nm. Such a Tugella will be 70 kg lighter than a four-wheel drive model.
It is interesting that a few years ago a monodrive for Tugella was first certified in Russia, but then such machines were not put on the market. Now, coupled with a recent facelift, a two-wheel drive and lower-cost version could help the crossover hold its own on the sales charts.
