The robust construction that the American company Lone Peak promotes with this pick-up is available for various vehicle brands.
The sunroof can be installed in less than a minute, turning a pick-up into a camper.
The bed is not located in a niche, but under a tent-shaped sliding roof. The tent has openings on all three sides, so you have a good view of the space in the upper room – or you can opt for good ventilation on hot days.
The base of the recumbent bike can be raised with springs to create a covered living space in the pickup’s cargo area. Depending on the need, you can install seating or cooking areas here.
For an additional cost, you can add stairs to the camper to make it easier to climb onto the bed of a truck ($75), or a folding ladder to get to the bed ($125).
You can also install solar panels on the roof. For example, the electricity generated by the sun comes in handy for the LED lights on the pop-up roof ($500), which come with 12-volt plugs. If desired, the energy can be used for an LED laser panel above the driver’s cab ($800), which allows you to monitor the area even at night.
The cost of a folding pickup cab is $ 5,995, which is equivalent to about 380,000 rubles. All of the aforementioned accessories add another $2,200 to the price.
