In November, 50.6% of sales came from cars from five brands. The leader in the secondary market is still Lada, with a share of almost 23% (105.2 thousand units; -10.4% compared to the previous year).
Top 5 also includes:
- Toyota – 53.3 thousand units. (-2.9%)
- Hyundai — 25.6 thousand units (-3.5%)
- kia — 24.9 thousand units (-2.2%)
- Nissan – 23.7 thousand units (-7.9%).
The top ten also included Volkswagen, Chevrolet, Renault, Ford and Honda. And note – not a single “Chinese”, but this is for now. The share of cars from the Middle Kingdom in the new car market is already around 30%, which means that they will soon migrate to the secondary market.
Experts note that 9 out of 10 brands that were in the top ten in November show a negative trend. At the same time, sales at Chevrolet fell the most (-13.6%). They only grew at the Japanese Honda (+5.2%).
The most popular models were Ford Focus, Lada 2114, Hyundai Solaris, Kia Rio and Lada 2170.
In just 11 months of this year, 4.4 million used passenger cars (-19.7%) were sold in Russia.
