The Honda driver drove through a red light in New Moscow, after which he was stopped by the traffic police. In response to a request to show documents, the driver abruptly stepped on the gas, dragging the inspector several tens of meters.
The police officer fell into a snowdrift, and the offender fled the scene of the accident. Now they are looking for him.
“The senior police lieutenant requested help from a medical facility, after which he continued his service,” law enforcement agencies said.
The owner of this car turned out to be an inveterate traffic offender. In 2022 he received 270 fines and has not yet paid them in full. Following the incident, a case was opened about the use of force against a representative of the authorities (Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
