Don’t worry, this did not happen in Russia and not with cars that could be delivered to our country. Bedbugs have occupied the Rivian company (manufacturing electric vehicles) in Normal (Illinois, USA).
Bedbugs were found on a forklift – the senior admitted this PRPlant Manager Zach Dietmeier.
“We investigate each report and take appropriate action as recommended by our pest control contractor,” said Zak.
The factory in Rivian is in quarantine and all forklifts are treated with insecticides. Loaders also disinfect other equipment on the company, as well as warehouses. But not immediately, but one by one.

One of the company’s employees said the bugs had been hosting the factory since mid-November. During this time, many of them divorced, and the factory management simply did not respond to complaints in time.
“I thought I should tell everyone who works there as management is trying to keep this a secret and just throw mats on the forklift seats for people to sit,” an anonymous tweet posted.
Another employee, who spoke to Pentagraph on condition of anonymity, expressed concern that bed bugs may have entered employees’ homes.
“Nobody wants to bring home bed bugs,” the employee said. “I doubt Rivian would pay to disinfect personal property.”
However, the automaker claims that the factory and all buildings on the site are safe. The guide also urged reporting bed bugs and warned against the spread of misinformation.
