It has been known for some time that the Iranian car manufacturers Iran Khodro (IKCO) and SAIPA will visit us: in the summer they demonstrated their machines at the Comtrans exhibition in Moscow).
Now another Iranian company is going to Russia, a smaller one, this is Kerman Motor (KMC). She assembles cars under three brands: MVM (renamed low-cost Chery), Fownix (renamed Flagship Chery), and KMC itself (renamed JAC), the Drome portal reports, citing the source.
Kerman will start with KMC cars, ie converted and renamed JACs. Now there are three models in the line: the KMC K7 crossover (JAC X7), the KMC J7 sedan (JAC Sehol A5 Plus) and the pickup KMC T8 (JAC T8 Pro). KMC is also preparing the PS1, a JAC J4 sedan with redesigned front and rear bodywork. An electric car will also be made on this basis.
Earlier it was also announced that Iran and Russia agreed to export cars worth 300 million dollars.
