None of the teams of the ongoing World Cup in Qatar have received such “gold mountains” from their government. For the victory over the Argentina national team, each member of the Saudi Arabia team received an elite Rolls Royce Phantom car. So compatriots thanked the country’s crown prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The price of such a new car is from 460 to 550 thousand dollars (about 27-33 million rubles).
On November 22, Saudi Arabia defeated Argentina 2–1. The legendary Lionel Messiah managed to score against opponents from the Middle East (10th minute, penalty kick). Saudis answered in the 48th and 53rd minutes.
