The Union of Car Services of Russia, which includes more than 30 maintenance companies from all over the country, has prepared a call to the Economic Commission of the EAEU and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The authors of the call plan to negotiate with the government of the Russian Federation on the production of spare parts for foreign cars without the participation of foreign companies.
To this end, the Union calls on these companies to oblige Russian factories producing car parts to have access to technical information on cars sold in the Russian Federation.

That is, we are talking about the use of domestic factories to establish the production of non-genuine spare parts, as well as to develop the atmosphere of the so-called. reconstruction, that is, a thorough restoration of used parts and assemblies disassembled from used cars.
Foreign companies have always placed in Russia what is profitable for them – assembly or, at best, full production, say the authors of the project. But now something else is needed. If there had been access to official manufacturer documentation 15 years ago, we would now have the same wide production of alternative components as we have in China. Of the components for foreign cars that could be made in Russia, the members of the Union list springs and suspension shock absorbers, engine and transmission parts, elements of the braking and cooling system, as well as various filters.
