A 39-year-old man turned to the police of the Moscow region, who said that on the 76th km of the M-2 Krym highway, four unknown cars driving in the same direction created a situation that led to a traffic accident in which his foreign car. After the vehicles stopped, the reckless drivers began beating him, MVD.Media reports.
The police identified one of the members of the group – it turned out to be a 27-year-old resident of Chekhov, who had been taken into custody.
It turned out that the detainee, along with his accomplices, had regularly provoked such situations since 2021: they created peculiar traps for drivers driving on the side of the road, trapped their car, resulting in an accident. Then they organized fights, all this was filmed and posted on social networks. On one of the video hosting sites, the police drew attention to the relevant material.
Now the police are looking for accomplices and fixing other episodes of their random activities.
As a result, the Investigative Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has initiated a criminal case for the city of Chekhov under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, information appeared in the media about some “sidewall hunters” – bloggers who cause accidents and conflicts in which motorists try to avoid traffic jams along the road.
