The sub-flagship model, the Watch 5, will come in two versions, 40 and 44mm, while the main model – the Watch 5 Pro – will be sold in a single 45mm diameter case. Both models received an Exynos W920 processor with a frequency of up to 1.18 GHz, 1.5 GB of RAM and 15 GB of permanent memory.

In addition, both models received an advanced set of sensors of the BioActive 3-in-1 system, which takes an EKG, reads the heart rate, and also calculates body fat. But Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro have GPS module, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi and LTE support. All versions of the watch received the protection against moisture and dust of the IP68 standard.

From previous versions of the Galaxy Watch, the new items differ in the presence of a body temperature sensor. Currently, very little is known about its functions. A Samsung spokesperson from the scene said it will be used for better analysis of human health, at least during sleep.

The 40mm version of the Watch 5 has a 284mAh battery, the 44mm has a 410mAh battery and the Watch 5 Pro has a 590mAh battery. It is stated that the sub-flagship versions of the watch can work up to 40 hours on a single charge, while the flagship version can work up to 80 hours.
