Chinese brand Realme has introduced a series of low-cost TVs with screen sizes of 43, 50 and 55 inches in Russia. There was a message about this on the website of the 3DNews publication.
55 inch Smart SLED 4K is positioned as the world’s first TV with a matrix made using SLED technology. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that the backlight uses three-color diodes (blue, red and green) instead of the classic two (white and blue). According to the manufacturer, this provides more uniform color reproduction and 108% NTSC gamut coverage. In addition, the model has thin bezels with a width of 9.5 mm, which are usually found on more expensive devices.
Both versions of the Realme Smart TV 4K model were offered in 43 and 50 inches. They are positioned as budget alternatives to Smart SLED 4K. They use classic LED matrices with 93% DCI-P3 color gamut. At the same time, both versions support HDR image contrast technology as well as Dolby Vision surround sound functionality.
