The affordable clamshell Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE will get a display from last year’s Galaxy Z Flip6. Authoritative insider and analyst Ross Young stated this on his page on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
If the leak turns out to be true, Galaxy Z Flip FE will have a foldable 6.7-inch internal Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 1080 x 2640 resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as an external 3.4-inch Super display. AMOLED screen with 720 x 748 resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate.
Rumor has it that the Galaxy Z Flip FE will feature simplified hardware, which will allow Samsung to set a lower price for the new product compared to the standard Galaxy Z Flip. The cheaper version is expected to be offered at a price starting from $699 (about 71 thousand rubles). For example, at launch the base Galaxy Z Flip6 was priced starting at $1099.
The introduction of the Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to take place simultaneously with the Galaxy Z Flip7 in the summer of 2024. Both devices will be equipped with a custom Exynos 2500 chip, details of which are known thanks to another leak.
