Samsung and OpenAI are negotiating a partnership agreement in which ChatGPT will be integrated into the Galaxy AI service. about this reports Information (TI).
Samsung currently uses its own Large Language Model (LLM) and Google Gemini neural network to power its Galaxy AI system.
For example, Apple actively uses OpenAI’s ChatGPT in its Apple Intelligence system. But Apple gadgets natively use proprietary solutions and enable ChatGPT only to perform certain tasks.
Perhaps Samsung will follow suit or offer ChatGPT as a full-fledged alternative to its own LLM and Gemini. However, according to The Information, negotiations between Samsung and OpenAI are still at an early stage and their results remain uncertain.
OpenAI is also said to be developing its own browser based on ChatGPT, and has hired developers who previously worked on Google Chrome, the world’s most popular browser.
