Apple has suspended the activities of its online store ahead of the launch of the iPhone 16 and other new products. The portal noted this 9 to 5Mac.
Apple closes the Apple Store website every now and then before releasing new products to update the sections. On September 9 at 20:00 Moscow time, it is expected to introduce the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max, as well as the anniversary Apple Watch Series 10 with updated design and larger screens, the generation of AirPods and probably other devices.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 will open globally on Friday, September 13, with deliveries set to begin a week later on September 20. However, sales of AirPods and Apple Watches could begin immediately following the event.
The main feature of the new iPhones will be a new button called the Capture Button (in Russian – “Capture Button”). It will allow users to click to take photos and videos. The button is expected to be capacitive: a half-press will activate the camera’s focus, simulating the operation of the shutter buttons on professional cameras. The button will also support swiping gestures for smooth zooming.
Rumors suggest that the new iPad and Mac models will be introduced by the end of the year, probably in October.
