Sony has started developing a new game in one of its most popular series 14:30

Insider Daniel Richtman, also known as DanielRPK, shared with his Patreon followers a new development directly related to the popular Bloodborne game. According to Richtman, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), which owns the rights to the series, has launched an “unknown game project” in this universe. DanielRPK insider’s retelling appeared On the ResetEra forum.

DanielRPK explained that he had no knowledge of the nature of the mysterious SIE product, noting that he wasn’t sure if we were talking about a sequel or a remaster. Rumors about a potential Bloodborne upgrade for new target platforms have been floating around for a few years now, but have yet to receive confirmation.

A possible PC port of the game was reported in February 2024. Additionally, Richtman claimed last year that Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions were working on a Bloodborne feature film starring Bill Skarsgård.

Bloodborne was released in March 2015 and has yet to be released beyond the PS4 platform. According to a December leak from Insomniac Games, the game has sold 7.46 million copies as of February 2022.
