iPhone owners warned that smartphones will soon slow down 12:29

Former Apple sales specialist Tyler Morgan warned iPhone users about the slowdown of their devices with the release of the new iOS 18 operating system, the portal reports. iDropNews.

Apple is positioning iOS 18, which includes artificial intelligence features, as the latest software for smartphones. However, according to Morgan, the new operating system is not intended for iPhone models released more than three years ago, such as the iPhone 13, iPhone 12 and iPhone 11.

Morgan explained in a TikTok video that iOS 18 could slow down the iPhone. “If you have an older device and you’re like, ‘I just want the latest,’ that’s great. But your phone will be slow. Maybe not right away, but over time. This update is not designed for phones that are not currently live,” he said.

A former Apple employee has stated that the upcoming update should only work best with the iPhone 16 and iPhone 15 Pro. For earlier iPhone models, iOS 18 would be a very expensive operating system. Installing it would lead to battery degradation and performance degradation for no apparent reason.

“If your phone is working great and you’re not too excited about the new iOS, don’t upgrade,” Morgan concluded.

Previously reportedHe said the new iPhones will go on sale worldwide on September 20.
