The most popular social network for business promotion in the Russian Federation was chosen 15:34

According to data, social networks have become one of the growth points of e-commerce research Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Association “My Business – My Opportunities”.

So, it turned out that the most popular platform for promoting business is VKontakte – 38.5% of respondents use it to promote goods and services. Telegram is in second place – 23.2%, and Instagram (the owner of the Meta company is known as an extremist in Russia and is banned) is in third place – 20.4%. YouTube and Odnoklassniki were also among the top 5 platforms in terms of business development.

82% of entrepreneurs said they manage their accounts on social networks and instant messengers on their own, 12% said they hired a specialist for this. 2% do not use social networks at all but are planning to start.

35% of entrepreneurs spend up to 5 thousand rubles per month on promotion, a third – from 5 to 30 thousand rubles, 12% – more than 100 thousand rubles.

The study was conducted in the format of an online survey in the first half of 2024. The participants were representatives of more than 4,000 small and medium-sized businesses from different regions of Russia.
