The flagship foldable smartphone Xiaomi Mix Flip, introduced in China, is preparing for an international release. According to the portal, the smartphone will be sold in Europe at a higher price than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 GSMArena.
According to one of Xiaomi’s executives in Bulgaria, Central and Eastern European countries will be among the first to receive the new product. The device will cost around €1,300 or $1,400 (about 124 or 122 thousand rubles). In comparison, the foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 costs €1,199, which is €100 cheaper than what Xiaomi would charge for its flip phone.
As a rule, European prices for Xiaomi flagships are almost the same as Russian ones, so we can assume that in the Russian Federation they will ask for 120 thousand rubles for a new product if a folding phone appears in the country.
Xiaomi Mix Flip is the company’s first foldable smartphone in a clamshell format. It is equipped with two screens: a flexible 6.86-inch OLED display and an external 4-inch. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip is responsible for the performance of the device. The main 50 MP camera with OIS is complemented by a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and the selfie camera has a 32 MP sensor.
The new Mix Flip is available in China in three storage versions, although it is unclear which of these will be available internationally and when the device will go on sale.
