Honor introduced the foldable Magic V Flip smartphone in clamshell format, which stands out from its competitors with the largest external screen in its segment. The portal reports this GizmoChina.
The new product has a 6.8-inch flexible display with 1.5K (2520×1080 pixels) resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits peak brightness. The external 4-inch LTPO display takes up almost the entire upper part of the rear panel and operates at 120 Hz. It is stated that it allows you to watch videos thanks to its wide diagonal.
There is a cutout on the external screen where the main camera with a 50 MP Sony IMX906 sensor and a 12 MP resolution ultra-wide-angle module are installed. There is a 50-megapixel front-facing sensor on the front.
The performance of Honor Magic V Flip is powered by the flagship processor of the second half of 2022, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and is complemented by 8 to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB to 1 TB of storage.
The 4800 mAh battery supports fast charging with 66 W power, and the new product runs Android 14 with the proprietary MagicOS 8 shell. Among other features of the new product, its thickness is 7.15 mm when opened and 14.89 mm when folded.
Honor Magic V Flip will go on sale on June 21 at prices starting from 5 thousand yuan (about 60.2 thousand rubles).
