Russian edition Rozetked published Test results in AnTuTu comparison of Google Pixel 9 series smartphones that have not been introduced yet.
According to the source, all Pixel 9 series smartphones will be powered by the same chipset (proprietary Tensor G4) but with different performance levels for each model. The new Tensor G4 is built on ARMv9-A architecture and includes 1 Cortex-X4 core with a frequency of 3.1 GHz, 3 Cortex-A720 cores (2.6 GHz) and 4 Cortex-A520 cores (1.95 GHz).
Source Rozetked tested three Pixel 9 models on AnTuTu and showed the following results: Pixel 9 (Tokay) – 1.07 million points, Pixel 9 Pro (Caiman) – 1.14 million points, Pixel 9 Pro XL (Komodo) – 1.17 million points. Last year’s Google Pixel 8 scored around 900k on AnTuTu.
It is stated that there is enough time left before the official launch of new Google smartphones and therefore Google can optimize the hardware to increase the performance of the new processor.
Rumor has it that Google Pixel 9 series smartphones will go on sale in the fall of 2024.
