“The most popular spending item was new clothes (20%), and the second most popular spending item was holidays (14%). “11 percent of those surveyed plan to spend the most on home repairs and improvements,” he says.
Additionally, 11% of participants spend money on gifts for special occasions, and 9% increase their sports spending.
As for the volume of expenses, more than a quarter (29%) of survey participants spend more than 25 thousand rubles for purchases, 17% – 25-50 and 50-100 thousand each, 11% – 100-250 and 250-500 thousand.
“10 percent of respondents do not plan any additional expenses on the eve of the summer season, and 5 percent will pay more than 500 thousand rubles or will not count expenses,” the study said.
The survey was conducted among users on the YuMoney website in May 2024, and more than 1 thousand people participated.
