Apple wants to sell even more expensive iPhones and laptops 14:50

Although Apple technology is generally considered premium, the company has begun to see a trend towards producing even more expensive devices in the Ultra series. The portal writes about this 9to5Mac.

Experts say iPhone prices are higher than most Android smartphones and Macs are more expensive than regular PCs, and this is true for every product of the company. In the near future, Apple plans to release more expensive versions of almost all of its products. It is assumed that such devices, such as the flagship Apple Watch Ultra watch made of titanium, will have the word Ultra in their name.

Experiments with the release of more premium devices began with the iPhone X, which was released simultaneously with the iPhone 8 and sold for $999. Then this smartphone showed that Apple fans were willing to pay for a more modern iPhone. Apple later released the Apple Watch Ultra, which was also successful.

Apple has already released two premium devices this year: the Vision Pro helmet for $3,499 and the iPad Pro M4, whose maximum version becomes even more expensive. According to rumors, Apple will introduce the iPhone 17 Ultra in 2025 and its foldable screen laptop in 2026. Analysts believe that the prices of these new products will once again exceed the psychological limit.
