NVIDIA has canceled the sale and renewal of licenses for its cloud gaming software. As a result, prices for these services have already started to rise. The founder of the cloud service Loudplay Vitaly Starodubov told the media about the situation. In addition, listings and links to Russian partners were removed from the NVIDIA website.
As for the price increase, the cloud gaming service GFN.ru has already increased the cost from 999 rubles to 1.4 thousand rubles. At the same time, the same technologies are used in My Game Cloud, which is part of VK.
Stopping Nvidia licenses could also complicate the work of Yandex, Sberbank and MTS supercomputers, which use A100 and DGX-2 GPUs for artificial intelligence systems. So far, however, the company has not blocked any existing licenses.
It was previously reported that many Russians have already “taste” cloud gaming.
