Infinix announced the launch of the Note 40 smartphone series in Russia, which includes two models. This was stated in a press release received by socialbites.ca.
The base model of the Note 40 has a flat 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, while the Note 40 Pro has a similar display but with curved edges. The displays also have up to 1300 nits of brightness, 1500 Hz sampling rate and 2160 Hz PWM.
The most important feature of the new products is the updated “Universal Fast Charging 2.0” technology. In this way, the basic model supports wired charging at 45 W, and the old model supports wired charging at 70 W. In addition, the smartphones have MagCharge wireless magnetic charging support with 20 W power for both devices, and the proprietary Cheetah X1 chip is responsible for power safety. In both cases, a 5000 mAh battery is used.
Inifnix Note 40 and Note 40 Pro are equipped with a 108 MP resolution main camera with in-sensor 3x zoom. It is also stated that some versions of the Note 40 and Note 40 Pro models will receive an interactive Active Halo ring light that can change color according to events occurring on the smartphone.
The performance of the new products is provided by the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate chip as well as 8 or 12 GB of RAM depending on the model. In addition, the manufacturer says that all Note 40 series smartphones will receive 2 years of Android update support and 3 years of security updates. Initially, the devices run the proprietary XOS 14 shell based on Android 14.
The price of Infinix Note 40 in the 8/256 GB version in Russia is 27 thousand rubles, but initially the smartphone will be offered for 23 thousand rubles. The old version will be sold for 30 thousand rubles. In the 8/256 GB version and in the 12/256 GB model – for 32 thousand rubles. At first their prices will be 26 and 28 thousand rubles. respectively.
