The Mir Pay payment service application, which allows you to pay in stores with Mir payment system cards connected to your smartphone, has been removed from the Google Play market. The correspondent of the socialbites.ca publication was convinced of this.
Mir Pay is an analogue of Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay and Mi Pay. After launch, SVO remains one of the few contactless payment tools for Android in Russia. The app was removed from the Google Play store on March 27, 2024. “SBPay” and “Privet!” with Mir Pay services have also been removed from the Google market.
It is noteworthy that the listed services were removed from the App Store in February this year. This happened just after the developer of the Mir payment system, the National Payment Card System (NSCP), was subjected to US sanctions.
After Mir Pay has been removed from Google Play, the official application can be downloaded to Android smartphones from the official NSPK website or from the local RuStore market. To do this, you will need a device with an operating system version no older than Android 7 and an NFC module.
Previously AppearedHe said Russians would be banned from paying for purchases through Samsung Pay.
