Experts calculated “fair” prices for video cards

The cost of a video card has long been a “hot topic” for many. Even now, the price remains high in some cases, although prices are falling. And in the German edition of 3D Center, they tried to find out how much the cost of the card corresponds to the performance. After all, the same GeForce RTX 3090 is much more expensive than the GeForce RTX 3050, but to what extent the increase in performance and cost correlates is another question. Therefore, journalists considered a “fair” price.

They took the GeForce RTX 3070 card as a basis with a suggested retail price of $ 499 (about 26,500 rubles). The calculation showed that the more powerful the card, the more “unfair” the price will be.
