Xiaomi has started fixing a bug that caused Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones to constantly reboot after an update. In this respect reports online publication Rozetked.
Currently, the company offers two ways to fix the problem: contact a service center or reset the smartphone settings yourself. The first method will not lead to data loss, but requires visiting an authorized Xiaomi service center, whose addresses can be found on the company’s website. Access and restoration of the device will be free.
According to Sergey Mozharov, senior engineer at Xiaomi’s special authorized service center, the solution is currently available for Xiaomi 12T Pro and Poco X5 Pro 5G models, and is in the development and testing phase for other models.
The second way to fix the problem is to reset the device to factory settings, which you can do yourself without visiting the service center. This process will take about five minutes, but this method will remove all apps, settings, photos, and other files from the device.
