Tecno introduced a portable console with augmented reality running on the Windows operating system at the MWC 2024 fair in Barcelona. In this respect reports iXBT portal.
Pocket Go differs from other portable Windows game consoles in terms of its compactness: The device is on average 30% lighter and has 50% smaller dimensions. In addition, Pocket Go is capable of running demanding games thanks to the Ryzen 7 8840HS processor with integrated Radeon 780M graphics card.
Pocket Go uses the Pocket Vision AR glasses headset, which consists of two Micro-OLED displays of 0.71 inches each, to interact with games. The headset connects to the console via USB-C, but can also work with other computers. These glasses replace the console’s screen, and the console itself looks like an ordinary gamepad.
Pocket Go has 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD and 50 Wh battery. The device also comes with Tecno Smart Box, a universal control system that allows you to connect to other smart devices in the Tecno ecosystem. According to the company, Pocket Go is compatible with Tecno smartphones as well as the Tecno Mega Mini T1 mini PC.
The cost and release date of Tecno Pocket Go have not been specified.
Previously Techno showed Dynamic 1, the first robot dog with 64 GB internal memory.
