Russian companies STC IT ROSA and Rutek introduced the domestic smartphone “R-FON” in Moscow. This was reported by TASS.
The new smartphone has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD + resolution. The main camera is 50 megapixels and the front camera is 16.
The processor of the smartphone is the octa-core MediaTek helio G99. The RAM capacity of the phone is 8 GB. According to the developers, this is enough for comfortable work and multitasking. And the size of the internal memory is 128 GB and can be expanded via MicroSD.
The gadget’s screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, the back of which is covered with tempered glass. The new product weighs 189 grams.
“R-FON” is expected to be launched in 2024, purchase applications start on December 18. The price of the smartphone has not been announced yet.
In addition to the smartphone, the ROSA Mobile mobile operating system was also shown at the presentation. Its ecosystem contains various services necessary for users.
“High security for ROSA Mobile users is important to us.” Therefore, the new operating system will be distributed only to trusted devices. “This is how we can guarantee maximum data security,” said Oleg Karpitsky, head of STC IT ROSA.
