The best iPhone game of 2023 was Honkai: Star Rail, from the creators of Genshin Impact. Lost in Play won the category on iPad; On Mac, it was Lies of P, an emotional game inspired by the story of Pinocchio. The top game on the Apple Arcade service was Hello Kitty Island Adventure, which allowed players to control the famous character and explore her island.

At the same time, Apple recognized five games and applications that have had a significant cultural impact and contributed to positive changes in society. The list included Pok Pok, Proloquo, Too Good To Go, Unpacking and Finding Hannah.
