Sony patented new gaming technology 15:34

Japanese company Sony has patented a new technology that allows players to replay difficult parts of games from anywhere they want. In this respect reports Insider Gaming broadcast. The technology is called “Content Streaming with Game Launch.”

Often in video games there are game gaps separated by automatic save points. Switching between them can take tens of minutes, which sometimes creates additional difficulties for players.

“Content streaming with game launch” means dividing such game intervals into shorter parts, sub-intervals. If desired, the player can select the most suitable subrange, return from the save point and load it immediately without wasting time.

Insider Gaming writes that if this feature is implemented, most importantly, it will make the job of content creators easier. The thing is that “Content Streaming with Game Launch” will allow users to launch games to record footage from specific moments. Often recording necessary scenes requires video bloggers to replay large sections of games.

Formerly Ministry of Digital Development of Kazakhstan commented It is possible that a regional version of PlayStation Store will be released.
