Samsung will surpass Apple in the number of titanium smartphones 23:02

Samsung plans to equip all three Galaxy S24 smartphones with titanium frames, ahead of Apple, which uses this material only in its flagship iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models. In this respect reports IXBT portal with link to authorized insider Revegnus.

According to the source, Samsung will independently produce titanium frames at its factory in Vietnam for the base model of the Galaxy S24 and will turn to suppliers from other companies for the more expensive versions of the S24+ and S24 Ultra.

At the same time, Samsung’s closest rival, Apple, uses only titanium in its two older iPhone models, while offering aluminum frames in its other two base models.

Little is known about the Galaxy S24 smartphones so far. Images of all models were previously published online, indicating that the new items will retain the design of their predecessors. The most important external difference of the S24 Ultra will be the device’s transition to a flat screen.

The smartphones are also credited with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chips or the proprietary Exynos 2400 depending on the region. Rumor has it that the flagship series will be introduced earlier than usual – the Galaxy Unpacked presentation may take place in January instead of February.
