Microsoft will introduce an updated version of the Xbox Series X with a major redesign in 2024. In this respect reports The Verge publication cited leaked data from the IT company.
The code name of the new device is Brooklin. It is shaped like a rounded cylinder with a glowing Xbox logo at the bottom of the front. Unlike the original Xbox Series X, the 2024 model does not have a built-in disc drive.
From the leaked materials, it appears that the new product will have a front USB-C connector and two rear USB-A connectors, and will also have data storage with a capacity of up to 2 TB. Overall system performance will remain unchanged and will be 12 teraflops.
Along with the console, Microsoft will also introduce a new controller codenamed Sebile. The DualSense for PlayStation 5 will feature an advanced haptic feedback system similar to the one currently used in the gamepad.
Both devices will be introduced in the summer of 2024 and will go on sale in the winter. Brooklin will receive a price tag of $ 499 (about 48.3 thousand rubles at the exchange rate of September 19, 2023), while the Sebile controller will receive a price tag of $ 299 (about 29 thousand rubles).
