Android smartphones will have older screens

Google has announced a new feature in Android 13 that will make it easier for visually impaired people to control their smartphones. About this company knowledgeable on the official blog.

The new version of the Android operating system will have built-in support for Braille accessories (a raised dotted tactile font designed to be written and read by the blind).

As planned by the company, smartphones will work with electromechanical devices that create Braille patterns directly on the device’s screen.

Previously, users had to install third-party apps to connect these devices.

The new version of Android was introduced during the Google I/O 2022 event. Although only available to beta testers, the full version of the operating system will be released in late summer or early autumn.
