WhatsApp added a new feature 13:38

In the new beta version of WhatsApp messenger 2.23.15.6, a feature was found in the Google Play app store that allows you to create an animated avatar with different reactions such as emoji. Portal reports WABetaInfo.

“Development includes the ability to customize your own avatar by taking a photo, and the rest of the process of creating an avatar from a photo is automatic,” the article says.

The feature is currently under development, so it is not ready to be released in the messaging version for all users.

Additionally, WhatsApp has added an expanded collection of its own avatars with different emotions, which are automatically provided to all users after installation.

Both features are expected to appear in the next update of the app for Android smartphones.

Avatars are ready to use and interactions with them in chats seem very stable [в бета-версии приложения]”, – said the journalists.

WhatsApp is owned by Mark Zuckerberg’s company Meta (described as extremist and banned in Russia), which aims to immerse users in the meta universe, a virtual world where real people can communicate in the form of their avatars or digital copies of themselves.

Former WhatsApp developers started testing New feature in Messenger.
