Photos of Elon Musk kissing his “robot wife”, which are actively spread on social networks, are actually produced by a neural network and are fake. Portal reports business insider.
The original source of the images belongs to Twitter user Daniel Marven, who has one million viewers. In his post, supplemented by four photos of Musk, Marven claims that the billionaire is preparing to launch a “robot spouse” with artificial intelligence functions. Some users began to spread this post on other social networks, as a result of which the publication was replenished with new “details” – for example, it was reported that the development of such robots is in the final stages and is the first commercial launch. It is scheduled for September 2023.
These posts garnered thousands of likes, and many users believed that the billionaire would be really interested in posting “robot spouses” that would also perform sexual function. However, it turned out that Marven’s photos were actually fake – they were generated by a neural network. As Marven later noted, his post wanted to draw attention to “the risks associated with the development of artificial intelligence.”
