Apple will launch AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C at 18:36 in 2023

Apple plans to release the updated version of AirPods Pro 2 by the end of 2023 with a case that will use USB-C instead of Lightning connector. In this respect informs MacRumors cites TF International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

According to Kuo, the mention of new wireless earbuds already available in iOS 16.4 refers to the updated version of AirPods Pro 2. This is at least demonstrated by the noise canceling pattern appearing in the iOS files. The analyst believes that Apple may bring other design changes to the device along with USB-C, but there are no details about it.

It is noteworthy that Apple does not plan to update another current version of the headset – AirPods 3. According to Kuo, when it comes to this model, the company has decided to delay the introduction of USB-C until the launch of a full-fledged fourth generation. It may ship alongside the iPhone 15 this fall.
