Russians release browser-based CS 1.6 that supports online mode 21:46

Russian developers have turned the popular Counter-Strike 1.6 into a browser game that can be run on PCs and smartphones without installation. About informs portal Hi-Tech Mail.Ru.

It is noted that Play-CS.com site supports all popular browsers, including Safari and Chrome. Hi-Tech Mail.ru editor tested the game’s performance on a MacBook Pro M1 laptop and iPhone. However, you will need a keyboard to play on your smartphone as the game does not support touch controls.

An important advantage of the retro game is the ability to invite your friends to play together – just share the link. It is important to have free space on the server for a friend to join.

Counter-Strike is one of the most popular game series. Initially, it was released as a modification for the shooter Half-Life, but in 1999 Valve bought the development, creating a full-fledged game.
