As part of the promotion of their new game, God of War: Ragnarok, Sony has erected a monument in the shape of a giant Leviathan ax in central London. Photos of an unusual advertising object appeared On the official account of the English division of PlayStation.
“Urgent news! A massive Leviathan ax was spotted in London,” writes the PlayStation UK post.
Leviathan is the ax used by Kratos, the god of war protagonist, in God of War: Ragnarok.
The author of the PlayStation UK account on Twitter explained in one of the comments below his post that the art object in the form of a large ax will not stay in London for long – it will be removed on the evening of January 31st.
It is noteworthy that the big ax is not the only part of Sony’s performance to support the game. Shortly before Leviathan’s “fall” in London, PlayStation reported on social networks that Thor’s hammer had “landed” in Mechelen, Belgium.
