Bloomberg: Apple plans to create AR glasses to replace user’s smartphone 11:31

In the future, Apple hopes to create augmented reality (AR) glasses that can be worn all day without removing it. The reporter reports Bloomberg Mark Gurman.

In addition, ideally, such a device can replace the user not only with a smartphone, but also with a laptop. However, Apple is still far from such a gadget – first of all, the company needs to complete the creation of an MR headset and attract the attention of potential users.

Complicating the situation is that there are already competitors on the market – for example, Meta (considered extremist and banned in Russia) or Microsoft already mixed reality headsets. Gurman says that while Apple has extra time to make its device more advanced, such devices are still very expensive and have a limited number of use cases.

Formerly socialbites.ca we talked about itThat Apple’s mixed reality headset will be called Reality Pro and will support gaze and gesture control. The user will be able to select the desired application icon in the 3D version of the iOS-like interface just by looking at it.
