The world’s most popular smartphone was the Samsung Galaxy A12, which was released in 2020. Portal reports Hi-Tech Mail.Ru With reference to a study by AppBrain.

Galaxy A12 is a budget smartphone from Samsung with an average cost of 15 thousand rubles in Russian retail. Galaxy A21 is in second place and Galaxy A10 is in third place. It is noteworthy that among the top ten most popular among smartphone users, only three devices (Redmi 9A, Redmi Note 8 and Vivo 1906) do not belong to the Galaxy line.

In addition, according to AppBrain, Samsung is the world’s largest manufacturer of Android smartphones at 34.6%. This is followed by Xiaomi with 14.3%, Oppo with 10.3%, Vivo with 9.8% and Huawei with 6.7%.
